Pleasure and peace, comrades. This video was made as a part of the installation "Four Futures," a collaboration with Maelstrom Collaborative Arts in October 2021. It appeared on a screen next to a projection of another video, so this is a stand-alone edit. My comrades and I were in a group representing the "communist future" where we are post-scarcity and post-hierarchy. Moodiv8 is the app operated by a "mood ring" available for the audience to take, along with a filter available to use on Instagram to check the levels of your 8 main moods. Moodiv8 broadcasts the complexity of your emotions, where the Ringleader reports on the highest levels of each mood. Written, performed, shot, and edited by me, Cassandra Harner.
